About Me

About Me

About Me

I believe design is how we see and experience the world and I want to help people experience the world around them with awe and joy.

To me, that means creating meaningful products that inspire confidence and trust, while leaving room for purposeful play along the way.

How I approach my design practice

I'm particularly drawn to work that combines problem solving, strategic design thinking, business strategy, and systems thinking. My approach applies design in all its forms at the intersection of these disciplines to create thoughtful, usable experiences that meet people where they are, and help them go further.

01

Understand the context

Whatโ€™s the situation? What are we seeing? What are people doing already?

02

Frame the opportunity

Whatโ€™s the observed gap we can fill within the system that exists?

03

Simplify and collaborate

Work closely with others, exploring ways to strip down complex flows

04

Deliver impact

Ship experiences that are usable, thoughtful, and drive adoption, confidence, and trust

Experience

Experience

With 10+ years of design experience, Iโ€™ve partnered with cross-functional teams to turn complex challenges into experiences that inspire confidence, build trust, and drive adoption.

I help companies design products people love to use, that deliver real results. I do this by blending strategy, systems thinking, and thoughtful visual design. Beyond design, I bring leadership, collaboration, and a deep commitment to doing good workโ€ฆand a tiny obsession with tiramisu.

EVERYDAY LIFE

EVERYDAY LIFE

why have I done this?!

why have I done this?!

why have I done this?!

why have I done this?!

I live in Toronto, I love the Oxford comma, and I love to cook โ€” itโ€™s complex and simple at the same time, which feels like a metaphor for design.

I love running. I hate running. Iโ€™m training for my first full marathon nowโ€ฆ

I also love music. I taught myself guitar about five years ago, and for the last six months, Iโ€™ve been teaching myself piano. Itโ€™s humbling.

I love to read, but sadly have not devoted as much time to it since, wellโ€ฆthe running became serious. Will I complete my reading goal for the year? Let's find out together.

I've been thinking about the human will a lot lately. It's incredible just how powerful the human will can be when we choose to devote ourselves to something. That kind of intentional pursuit, whether you're deep in the trenches of a long run or fumbling through a new piece, or figuring out a tricky design problem; that act of choosing, and sticking with it, is something I value deeply.
